Introduction to Mindful Self-Compassion

This workshop is typically a three-to-six-hour format 
  • Location can be provided by the client or for an extra cost can be arranged by us
  • Program activities include meditation, short talks, experiential exercises, group discussion, home practices and a direct experience of self-compassion
 Workshop details:
Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) training is designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. It is based on the ground-breaking research of Dr. Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Dr. Christopher Germer.  MSC teaches principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their lives with kindness, caring and understanding. In this training you will:
  • Gain an introductory understanding of self-compassion and mindfulness
  • Cultivate skills needed to care for yourself while caring for others
  • Learn a variety of mindfulness, self-compassion and relaxation techniques for home and everyday life
  • Learn how to motivate yourself with kindness
  • Learn how to handle difficult emotions with greater ease and acceptance
